hey, it's true//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
your using data from stuff under 18 inches. There is a reason above 18inches is rare. its because after 18 mores law comes into playhey, it's truetake DDaudios subs for example
the dd9500g specifically
10" = 87db
12" = 89db
15" = 93db
18" = 94db
or the JL w7
8" = 82.7db
10" = 84.3db
12" = 86.2db
13" = 86.3db
and yeah I'm sure you can argue with a good setup a 10 can beat a 15 and what not but...general terms an 18 covers more area than a 10, it will move more air if played to the same type of sub 8 inches smaller
And sure, box dimensions are like 80% or higher of the sub output, and can completely demolish the need to even look at efficiency, but we don't need to get into that
