is this enclosure good?

If you have some basic carpentry skills, I would always opt for building one to spec, over buying a pre-fab. Having said that, if you have the right subs for it, this box should be louder than a sealed one, if you have to buy it.

No you will never break any glass. For christs sake, please do not use that enclosure in the link. Just take the time to build a nice ported box yourself. You'll be very happy you did.

the one from aa electronics is $55

and the other one i saw was 250 from future shop

i dont know any other stores in mississauga that sell enclosures so i ll prob get it soon ill show u guys my setup soon //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

No offense intended...but are you serious? Sounds like a joke to me.

Are you in high school? If you are, you should ask your shop teacher if you could use the wood shop. Maybe even ask him to help you. Buying a sheet of MDF (3/4" perferably) and building your own box is way way cheaper. You should feel a sense if pride too.

Someone on the forum will design a box for you to the specs of the subs. You will get much more output, and it will be better for the subs, to build a box to specs. And cheaper. Did I mention it would be cheaper and sound better?

It's less expensive to build your own box too.
