Subs on stock h\u

How would I go about doing this? I know I will need a line output converter, but what wires do I have to splice to run the line to the sub amp? The car is a 2003 monte carlo SS, and getting a new h\u is out of the question. It will cost too much to get harnesses and others to give door chimes and etc. I will be eventually getting a h\u, but cant afford it yet. I know how to connect to battery, but do you think I will need a larger alternator? The amp is going to be a JBL\Crown BPX1100.1. This install is going to be gradual over the course of the year, but I want to get the subs in first.

Not to be mean, but if you read the post, you would see there is an amp going to the subs... a JBL\Crown BPX1100.1 with 2 W10GTi MKII being pushed by it, I just need to know about remote on offs, and splicing wires.

Save up money for an amplifier to supply the sub with power first...Otherwise it is pretty much pointless..
figures he is from canada

you will need to tap into the back speaker wires and run the line out converter ( whatever thier called )from thier to get a signal for the amp

You need to splice into the left and right channels then go into the loc then into the amp. Just remember if you fade to the front you lose your subs lol. The remote is any wire you can splice into thats in the car that is 12V when you turn the key to accesories/ignition
