Recently I took the speaker wire out of my 2 12" JL audio subs (because honestly they were hitting too hard early in the morning) I figured it was alright because I have done it without the car running. I would have turned the subs off from my head unit but for some reason the sub control option is no longer there since I switched my setup (that's another issue). After putting the wire back in without the car running I noticed my subs were barely hitting at all. This has happened before but I just took the wire out and put it back in and it worked just fine. This time I can't get them to hit barely past a thud and its been hours. Any idea of what's going on ? Power wire isn't getting pinched and everything else is in working order .
