sorry if this has been discussed but i looked and looked and found nothing really. i really just need to know if its an AQ thing? i recently installed a brand new AQ 1200 and when i shut the radio off after playing at high volume it burps, also if i put the radio volume on 0 after playing it loud the samething happens. old hfi 3000d never burped?

Turn on/off thump. No biggie. Gonna hurt your score in SQ judging though.

Happens when the HU turns off or on before the amp does.

You might wanna make sure your ground is completely secure.

i have had this happen as well its not the amp when it happened to me it was a ground issue as well

You might wanna make sure your ground is completely secure.

it doesn't work like that. it's like a pump and is limited by the size of pipe. the small wire negates any benefit from the larger wire. more resistance on the smaller wire as well.

BECAUSE IT IS A SMALLER WIRE AND A LONGER RUN (caps intentional)

A 1/0 HAS LESS RESISTANCE (MORE CONDUCTANCE, *******) THAN A 4 GA WIRE.

IF IT DIDN'T WORK LIKE THAT, WE'D ALL HAVE SMALL GAUGE POWER WIRES.

might try grounding HU also as there's a bad ground somewhere, so you're using the RCA's as a ground = thump from sub.

All grounds I've seen with a seat always were a bad ground. I'd try a new ground location. And try testing the ground out with ur dmm to see if it has a lot of resistance, best case scenario it will read 0. Just my advice and experience, good luck tho

ya ill do a test what should the highest resistance be around. i know to shoot for 0 but with a unibody i doubt ill get even close
