I detect a hint of Fail here so I will try to help out.

OP did you tap into the remote wire from your amp for the highs? What does it matter......

MA Audio is a rockford fosgate product, which also happens to be made in china. Woot for that one.

Not saying I've held to it, but I'm not claiming my setup is brilliant by any means. Budget makes a difference, and considering I've built mine on $150, I'm pretty happy. But don't claim what isn't quite true. MA Audio is not outstanding in the audio world by any means.
