I chose to add an additional battery to just run the subs and everything is working just fine. And even though Boss may **** it is pushing the hell out of these subs!! I still plan on upgrading the amp though. Thanks!!

watch out for dirty power it could be pushing them hard but boss amps are known for being dirty
