JL bass knob for jd 1000/1

Hello all,

I just got a jd1000/1 amp to power a 12 WO with a bass knob. I had it installed by a shop. It sounds great but I got a question. If I turn the bass knob all the way up will I damage anything? The gain on the amp was set at the shop about halfway. I have the knob dialed into the middle and it’s loud. Just wondering can I go louder safer with the knob all the way up?

id reset the gain like this (see link below), with the bass knob all the way up. the test tones are at the very bottom of the link too
