the amp is a 800W mono pioneer it puts out about 350w rms.

the subs are 1000w a piece with 125rms per sub.

so you think its trying to pull too many peak watts?

how do I test the volts? I have either 4 or 5v preouts.... kenwood excelon x493

some kenwoods have crappy and low voltage from the pre outs...i got a hu kenwood last 2 weeks..and everytime i crank it up my sub sounds distorted(i have it at -8 bass and no bass boost from hu)...i didnt have this problem with my factory hu..actually it souded much more louder from factory than that kenwood i have now..gota get me a new hu now..im thinking on !!PIONEER!!

also the subs are 4 ohm SVC's. I just ran the posi's together at the amp, and the neg's together at the amp. thus creating a 2ohm load, correct?

go to rockford fosgates website and click on the wiring wizard...they can help you on wiring also....

not no more...i havent fixed my sig...i have new speakers now..front and rears..RF of course..the kenwood HU i got..etc..
