hey Im running 2 pioneer t301r's and a pioneer 800w mono [gm7100m]

If i set the gain to "normal" which is like 1/4 turn. I cant turn the volume up all the way without it cutting out. I can beat @ like 28vol but 29 itll bump 2x then cut out. anything above it just cuts out

wtf? bad ground?

btw 4ga wire im using

No I dont believe so. They are both SVC subs. If I hook one up, I can wang the **** out of it. no prob so bad that I could smell something. I was thinking that was too much and ill hurt the coil, so i rehooked both up

AMP specs

Pioneer Model GM-7100 800 WATTS

Mono Power Amplifier with 800 Watts Max. Power

Looking for an amplifier to drive your subwoofers? You need to get your hands on the new GM-7100M Mono Amp. It powers out 360 watts when driven at 2 ohms - drive it hard, and you can even get up to 800 watts maximum. Plus, it delivers some important features for fine-tuning your system, namely selectable 50Hz bass boost and a built-in crossover. It also comes with oversized power terminals, speaker level inputs, and a wide input level of 200mV to 6.5V.

2-Ohm Mono Stable

The GM-7100M is built to efficiently handle low-impedance loads, down to 2 ohms. That's perfect for a pair of 4-Ohm Woofers like the new Pioneer TS-W306C's, or running a Dual Voice Sub like the TS-W306DVC. And it doesn’t just “handle” them: it continually monitors and adjusts the power supply voltage rails, for continuous, clean output. Among other things, this means that you can connect it to two subwoofers.

Variable Crossover (40 ~ 240Hz)

For added flexibility, the variable crossover lets you set the levels at which higher-frequency signals will be filtered out, so that the remaining lower-frequency signals get sent to your sub(s). Where they belong. This optimizes your system’s efficiency and delivers the best possible sound quality. This step-up feature is a really useful tool for fine-tuning your system.

Selectable Bass Boost

Bass boost gives you more control over how your music sounds. It's set at 50Hz, ideal for tuning in some more thump from your subwoofers. And because this is selectable bass boost, you can set the level at 0dB, 6dB, or 12dB, whichever sounds best to you.

PIONEER GM-7100

and i dont have a protect light on the amp. sucks eh?
