subs and ports which way to fire?

ah that makes more sense then, I though it was a troll thread.

I'm not familiar with that particular vehicle but subs/port back has always played flattest and most musically for my suv's

What are your thoughts on an upfiring box in an SUV? Which way should the port face for an upfiring box? I'm considering top mount b/c I will still use the cargo area and I'm afraid I might end up throwing a golf club thru my sub. Or worse, one of my dogs will use it as a chew toy. I don't want to use a grille. Sorry op if I highjacked your thread. I didn't want to start a new thread basically asking the same question.
