subs and amp (wiring)

OK, i know im newbeeish, but i gotta ask...

i have two POWFX10W subs which i had originaly planned on hooking up to a mono 1 ohm stable orion 1200d, but now i have gotten an infinity 1211A for DIRT CHEAP ( FREE, just had to pay $75 to get it fixed)!!! so i think i am gonna give it a try. however i dont believe the amp is 1 ohm stable like the orion, so there goes the wiring plan i had in mind, so whats the best way to hook them up?

the only mono amp i ever dealt with only had outputs for one sub, so it was pretty straight forward, and i thought that mono amp only had one output, so i guess im even more lost than i though.

ok you have two 4ohm dvc so you would keep it at 4ohm +to- +to- but if you look down from the sit you gave us it will tell you how if you look down

i seen the "wiring options" at the bottom of the link, but it reccomends a 2 channel amp, or a mono 1 channel, the 1211A is neither of those correct? like i said i am sorry to be asking such stupid questions, but the fact the infinity is a MONO amp and has two outputs in confusing the hell out of me.

ya you would got from one sub coil 2 +to- and then coil1 + to amp and - to amp and then do the same for the next sub so you would have 2 wires ine the + and same for the -

sorry, yeah i got that part. i was confused as there are 4 speaker inputs (two negative and two positive) but only two wires coming from the subs. i dont know which two on the amp i am suppose to connect em to.

pick a channel... most MONO amps have two channels to make wiring easier... but just use one set and you're fine
