Sub Wiring Not Making Sense

I purchased 2 of TS-W3003D4 subwoofers and I was wondering on how one would go about hooking up a wire capable of handling 2000 watts. My car is running at 14.4 volts, which translates to using about 140 amps per sub. The max wire gauge I managed to put inside one of the terminals was 8 gauge. That wire can only handle 73 amps max. Something doesn't work out. In order to make the use of the 140 amps, you would need to run a 4 gauge wire to both subs. How do you attach a 4 gauge wire to these subs!?!?!

What about this 2 dvc d4 1 ohm

your amplifier has a step up voltage transformer internally. so you cant calc the 14.4v input as part of the equation.

Edit: read post wrong

edit number 2: wire is rated in the amps it can carry.. the amplifier takes the 14.4v and ups it massively.. so, the volts x amp becomes much less significant on the speaker wire..

Your speaker wire is the last thing needing attention powering 2000watts. whats your electrical like??
and ya what electrical do you have?

what size alt.

what size battery

how many batterys?

what size power wire?

did you do the big 3 yet?

what car ?

but in saying all that a stock car should handle that amp. as long as your alt is not like 50amps.. lol
