I plan on buying 2 Perfect 12.1D's and powering them with 2 JBL BP1200.1's(that's 1200W each). First of all, what guage wire should be used for the power and ground? and second, what gauge wire should be used from the amps to the subs? thanks in advance.

Man I can smell that burnt Voice coil already ! 4 gauge to the amps and 12-14 gauge to the subs , All depends on how far of run you have really thou !

well 2 dual vc 4ohm subs wired in paralell will produce a 1ohm load not 2.....

nope...like i said u cant get 2ohms...only 1,4, or i think 8...not real familier w/ series but i know it raises the ohm rating

i thought that if i get the svc versions(both at 4 ohms) and i run the 2 of them in series then it cuts the ohm in half and if it's run in parallel, then it doubles the ohm. can anybody confirm this?
