Sub volume switch

What a riot!
I need to find an external switch to control the amp volume. I've seen them before, they have a knob that allows you to adjust the signal going into the amp via RCA if I remember correctly. I do not want to buy some piece of crap Boss or Audiovox switch. Any good brands you would suggest and possibly where to even find them?

I am basically hooking up two amps from one sub RCA output(Using Y-Cables). One amp clips sooner than the other (I believe it goes to 3.5v max and the headunit puts out 4v), so I need a switch to turn it down without affecting the other.

That is how it is currently set up...It's an old school Alpine amp that really does kick butt! But it clips too soon...I need advice for what to do! A sub volume control switch will solve my problem, no?

its not that its just we dont care.
That defeats the purpose of a forum, and more importantly, life. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Plus it's just easier to turn the volume down slightly (assuming it's actually producing 4 volts at your normal listening volume) and increase the gain slightly ...
My amp goes to 3.5v max, that is the problem...I appreciate your help, though =)
