(not doubting anyone) but would one SX really be louder than 2 15in. CVRs. I do have a small nissan sentra trunk, would this be enough room for the SX..

Depends on wat box u use and wat size SX u get

just port your box. try that first, its inexpensive. but if u do upgrade, i could use those kickers

I was thinking ported with the 15in.

Would 2 12in. Fosgate Punch HX2's in a ported/vented enclosure be louder than my 2 15in. CVRs sealed?

i would believe so. Usually ported is almost 2wice as loud for the same size same type sub. I dunno how much louder it would be for just 12s.
