Sub to use in home?

Anyone have a cheappp recommendation for a sub to use in my house? I have this crappy VR3 walmart amp I got for free, and i'm going to get a power supply off ebay and try running it in my room.

It's claimed for 400 watts bridged (4ch amp), but i'm going to assume it does half that so i'll set it up for 200 watts.

I'm looking for something super cheap that will work off 200 watts at 4ohms. Checked out partsexpress already but didnt' see anything great. This is really jsut an experiment/for fun type thing.

Any rec's?

i have a MTX 4500 15 in my home audio setup and im happy with the way it performs

It will work fine, i dont believe you will be able to run 400w RMS, i would run around ~ 150 and it will be ok.

Find the amperage on the 12v rail of the psu and multiply by 12v to get theoretical wattage.

I love how hard it is to get a serious answer on this forum now...

As for the PSU, yes i'm getting about a 20a so it should be good for my 200 watts.

AE speakers aren't really "cheap" if I remember. And uhh my reply was serious. Look them up. About $130...

I'll most likely find something with dvc's anyways, but why woudlnt' I be able to run a SVC 4ohm...
