did you do a search at all? option 1: rear channel speakers to line out converter to amp option 2: rear channel speakers to high level input on amp

yes did search, but the criteria i entered didn't result in me finding what i needed... maybe i'm just dumb //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif anyway, so i am figuring that i will loose the rear speakers if i decide to run a sub, correct?

No, you can use quick disconnects and just attach the line from the LOC to the rear speakers. You won't lose your speakers.
