sub to amp wires?

i got a 650 watt 325 rms wiring kit from walmart for my kenwood 12s and kenwood amp (it's 300 watts rms)

now it says the ground, power, and rca's are included..i didn't see any sub to amp wires at walmart so tomorrow i'm going to circuit city. What gauge cables do i need and i'll just need to get a positive and a negative for each sub right?

Wal mart should have had some, 14ga would be ok.

Get a better kit. The kits wal-mart sell are very cheap. The wire count is very low, go to circuit city and buy an 8 guage kit. It is only 49.99, and it is a much better kit.

Yes, just a positive and negative cable is what you need. Speaker cable, that is. 12-14 gauge is fine.

And he would be even better off going with a non-big box store kit. Knu, Stinger, StreetWires, JL Audio, etc. All much better than what you will find at BB or Walmart.
