i want a 12" sub(s) budget is $500. that the sound travels far...you guys know what i mean? my friend has 2 12 L7 in a sealed box and that shit travels far even though its not loud in the car u can hear it from quite a distance and other subs are insane loud inside the car but somehow just cant be heard from a distance..what is up with that? or is it just me..any opionion is good

loud in low frequencies( around 40hz and below) = heard from far

if you can hear your friends stereo from far away, and it is not loud in the car, then something is wrong...
