i want a 12" sub(s) budget is $500. that the sound travels far...you guys know what i mean? my friend has 2 12 L7 in a sealed box and that **** travels far even though its not loud in the car u can hear it from quite a distance and other subs are insane loud inside the car but somehow just cant be heard from a distance..what is up with that? or is it just me..any opionion is good

Certain frequencies may carry farther and can be heard more easily than others.

Here is my opinion. Come back once you've matured a little and learned how to make sense.

The period key is your friend and so is a spell checker. Learn how to use both.

Do you have an amp? Or do you need subs and amp? Do you have anything at all? Is $500 for everything? wires, box, and all that type of ****???

loud in low frequencies( around 40hz and below) = heard from far

if you can hear your friends stereo from far away, and it is not loud in the car, then something is wrong...
