Sub stopped playing need help

I'm hoping to get some help to figure out why my sub won't play. It was working fine, then just stopped playing. I checked connections and they are all good. The amp's fuses are good. I have a fuse for a distrobution block and can't really tell if it's blown or not. It's one of those mini anl fuses which is black in the middle so I can't see it clearly. I also have another amp hooked up for the highs on the distrobution block with another fuse and that is working fine. The grounds go to a ground distrobution block to a single ground. The sub looks fine, however I don't know too much about the mechanics of a sub. I just bought a multimeter and would like to check the amp and sub, but not sure how to do this. Any suggestions, thanks.

push lightly on the cone of the subwoofer and see if it makes scratchy noises.

Ok, update. I checked out the sub and no funky noises and it looks fine. I checked the voice coils with a multimeter and they both read roughly 2 ohms which is what they are. I connected the sub to my other amp which I know works and still no sound. I double checked the connections again and everything is fine. I called the manufacturer and they said the tinsel leads may be broken, but they seem fine although I can't see where they go beyond the spider. So my conclusion is that the sub is blown even though I see no evidence of it other than it won't play. I will most likely just purchase a new sub, however I just was hoping for more proof the sub is blown so I don't spend my money on a new sub for no reason. If there are any other tests I can do to figure out what is wrong with it I would appreciate it. Who knows, maybe I can get it fixed. Thanks.
