Sub Selection/Comparison Help

Im looking to upgrade my stock rear 6.5 speakers to some subs but im not sure which one will produce the "Lowest and Loudest" bass

Ive narrowed it down to a pair of Kicker CompVT 08CVT652-$150 or a pair of JL 6W3V3-8-$260

Heres a comparison

I'm looking for a dedicated 6.5" sub not a **** good Mid bass-SRRY

Any help on this would be great, thanks

why not go to PartsExpress and look at Tang-Band's 6.5" Subwoofers.... very very good little drivers, affordably priced and lots of good reviews....

and if you're wanting to go to dedicated subwoofers in the factory locations you'd best be sure to use sound deadening and mount them in some good MDF rings to be sure to get the best sound, no matter what you choose to buy installation makes or breaks the outcome.... also, unless the speakers are dual 4 or single 2 ohm coils you won't be able to bridge them to that amplifier.....

If i go with the JL ill get the 8ohm sub and run them in parallel

and if i go with kicker ill get the 2ohm model and run them in series

i think thats the right order

Could check out the Elemental Designs E3.6 at edesignaudio.com I think they're on sale right now and I'd put money on that walking all over the Kickers. Probably similar to the JL's but for way less $$.
