Hey all,
I'm looking for advice on a high end SQ sub.
Number of subs preferred: 1 preferred, 2 max
Size preferred (if configuration allows): 12
Budget: $1000
Power to be used (which amp(s), include which resistance): Hertz HDP @2 ohms, 550w x 1
Space available (take measurements, do not guess): .95 cu ft per sub, in sealed "stealth" boxes side firing in trunk of sedan.
Goals: Tight, accurate woofers that can also get reasonably loud when desired. Doesn't need to be big SPL. Much more interested in sound quality.
Listening habits: Rap, Rock, Pop
Preferred brands/subs/whatever: I'm running Focal Polyglass components for front, rear, and rear deck. So maybe something that would blend reasonably well.. but that would take a back seat to the SQ reqt.
