Sub recommendation please

Number of subs preferred: I prefer 1 or 2 subs

Size preferred: 10-12"

Budget:$2-300

Power to be used: JBL GTX 500 (500 watts @ 2 ohm)

Space available: trunk is 40" wide at narrowest and 16" high and lowest point.

Goals: have some ok bass at low/medium levels not a bass head

Listening habits: i listen to a lot of house music and talk radio nice combo right

Preferred brands/subs/whatever: i like image dynamic subs but it has been over 10 years since i've been into car audio.

If you could raise your budget, there's a brand new Morel Ultimo Ti-102 10" sub on Ebay going for $475. This is definitely one of the better SQ subs and normally sells for over $1000 on Amazon. I'd jump on this, but my amp's sub channels can't handle 2 ohm loads.

I highly recommend a sub! I have my first (OK second) one and they PUMP!! Like having a bass player in your car!
