I have a project vehicle that I am working on. Most everything about this ride is looks so keep that in mind when recommending. We have chosen to go with Rockford amps. The reason behind this is I grew up with the original mosfet amps therefore I know the name is reputable, and the color scheme works well with the color scheme we are putting on the car. I know the box will be ported, possibly a bandpass as well.
The amp powering the subs will be a 2500 1bdcp(already purchased). We originally were going to go with 4 15's but we want to keep below the window level and have a rear seat and also have to deal with the rear notch. That being said and the way the box will have to be we decided to scale down to 2 15's.
The basic dimensions of the box can be 63x23x24 and I can go a little bigger if necessary. That is about 20 cubes if my math is correct. I am not looking for a meter monster, just something that sounds nice and clean and when I want to slam can kick it up quite a bit.
Below is a pic of what I am working on. This lays flat now unlike the pic but gives you an idea. Colors will be midnight blue metallic with flat black highlights.
Was going to post pic here but was denied. This is a 65 Suburban laying frame.
When recommending subs please state in your opinion why, not just Brand A is da bomb or some other useless info.
Thanks in advance for any info you can provide. I have been out of the audio loop for quite some time and appreciate the newer generation's insight //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
