Featured Sub Recommendation for Maserati Levante SUV

Looking for a sub recommendation to go in my SUV. Looking for high end clean bass. Any suggestions is appreciated.

Number of subs preferred: One

Size preferred (if configuration allows): 12"

Budget: High end

Goals: Nice clean bass

Listening habits: Rap

Preferred brands/subs/whatever: None right now. Used to have JL W7 and FI Q but I'm older now and I've been out of the sub game.

The SI SQL is a good recommendation. Adire Shiva, Koda or Brahma, JL w6 or w7, Dayton Reference.

This guy wanted Sq and volume in his Amg Suv without losing cargo space. These Illusion 10's modeled up fantastic in small airspace ported and with some fabrication all his goals were met.

My response was geared more towards install options than brand recommendations, if they went under its a shame. I'm not "in the industry" in any capacity other than helping out a few here and there with enclosure designs and recommendations. I thought I'd share a space saving sq option that turned out really well.

They are solid drivers yes, my opinion is higher end "esoteric" brands are mainly a flex and money pit beyond a certain point but I try to work with whatever equipment is brought to the table.

I heard "Focal amps" in this instance and rolled my eyes but they are solid and performed exceptionally well. I was on the fence concerning the subs chosen until I modeled them up. Surprising results to say the least, the owner was extremely happy with the end result.

There are many options out there I'm sure. Its more about enclosure and install anyway.

Anyhow, what's the deal with Arc Audio? I was reviewing their new products, and they just don't seem very impressive. They used to be the shiz.

I looked them up. It appears they're back, or at least they have an active website. I remember them going under in ~early 2000s.

Been looking at a sq system in my “nicer” vehicle. It’s not a Maserati but going for better installation and equipment than my other vehicles. Doesn’t sound like price is an issue for op but I’m gravitating toward the Dayton reference series. Was researching the different lines (hf, ho, excursion series etc)
