Sub not working amp has power?

The other day my sub stopped working but the light to my amp was still on. So i decided to restrip and clean all the wires going from amp to box, did no good so decided to mess with it later, shut my hatch and it started working. I really didn't think much of it figured I had did something without knowing I did it. Next morning it stopped working again and was cutting on and off every 5 ten minutes. So I took the Sub out and one of the wires going to the sub had just came out, so I hooked it back in worked fine for like a day and it stopped again. I figured I didnt get that wire in good so I pulled the sub out and everything was still hooked up. Restripped the wires at the sub and it worked fine but like 20 mins later stopped again. What could be going on here?

Just solder the wires to the sub and be done with it.

plugged in my my kicker l5 it works fine, so godda be in the sub.
