sub not playing any sound

my guess is you dont have the rcas connected/there bad

Or you grounded that amp chassis out when installing it and fried it, fat chance it doesnt work right form the factory, there pretty much all bench tested with a birthsheet now adays, even the scoches (dont know what brnad youve got though)

I hate installing for friends though, I usually just make them do most of the work and teach them along the way, so if there shits ****ed, it wasnt my fault lol, and you learn more doing it yourself

 
Be honest, did you disconnect the battery when wiring everything. Be honest, we wont tell him obviously lol
yeah i disconnected the negative battery terminal before i did anything.

Mine does the same thing, its the RCA jack. Tell him to get another amp. If that doesn't work, its the rca's or a bad wire job to the subs.
i'll check the rca's tomorrow and let you know.
