Depends on how cheap the head unit is. What do you have? Also, is this happening on a legit storebought or a fight the RIAA burned disc? Either way, a good head unit won't give out thumps, beeps, or any other audible changes.

I have a panasonic 5310u. I heard it has bad preouts. Could that be a reason why there are noises?

It's possible. I've never worked with the 5310u. It's not exactly top of the line but then it's not bottom of the barrel either. Gotta see if there's another who has one with the same problem.

I have very faint noise coming through my subs. You can only hear it if you put your ear up to it.

I have a pioneer 3600, pretty low end unit. I'm pretty sure a better HU with higher pre-outs would get rid of any noise remaining.

the noise that comes from my sub is hella loud. a bit irritating. it's like the sub is bumping to da disc reading. kinda weird but yeah. i tried turning down da gain on my amp and still noises occur but i think it's not quite as loud as before.
