my friend had a treo tsx 12 that was completely locked up.. couldn't be moved at all. he gave me the sub, and i was bored today and took it apart. now, i don't know much about the inside of a sub, so go easy on me. i got it down to basket/motor and the magnet is not completely stragiht. it is stuck to one side. how does this happen? can it be fixed?

the glue let go and the motor shifted.

Some will say no but yes you can fix anything, will it work good.... who knows.

You owuld have to shim the magnets from the center pole (maybe make custom wood shims) so you center the pole in the magnets. As for a glue to use I am not sure maybe a good strong 2 part epoxy, maybe a thick CA glue.

If you happen to get the center pole inline correctly then you would have to try to center the top plate (if it was off or where it came unglued)

Then recone. I guess //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif email treoa nd see what they say. I seen a post about an RE sub shifting and David said to email him asap about it.
