Both are good subs, and can get loud. Ide personally go with the titanium for looks, and they are getting more and more rare... I still wished i had my ti 15s sometimes...

sorry for my ignorance but, what is tinsel leads, i try to search but didnt find anything that describe this.

I never had any problems with mine. the newer ones shouldnt have any problems.

tinsel leads connect the speaker wire to the voice coil

The newer batches had this problem. The titanium series was discontinued, becaue the xenon line replaced it. It wasnt because of the early tinsel lead issues
