Sub level

I got an alpine and I've been seeing people talk about putting the level of their subs to 35. Mine goes to 15. Does that mean mine won't go as loud or mine goes a little louder each turn than theirs?

Are you sure you're not confusing the sub level with the main volume? The main volume on a lot of Alpines is 35 maximum...

Just to let you know, the volume goes to 35, the SUB LEVEL goes to 15, and the BASS BOOST goes from -7 to 7. The bass boost is what you want to leave at 0, the SUB LEVEL is ok to raise lower, as it is just an internal gain. Make sure, when setting ur gains on your amp, to have the SUB LEVEL set on 15. If you decide to set your gains with the SUB LEVEL on any other number, just remember not to turn it past that, as it may cause premature clipping of the amp.
