sub level question

when i play music the sub hits really hard for a split second then stops . its kinda anoying. anyone know what that could be . and how sould i have the gain and sub level adjusted..

ill try that .. also my radio fuse for my car is like a 20 should i put a 25 or 30 fuse in there will that make a difference or is it bad
