Sub help

Alright here's the deal, one of my friends has 2 12' Alpine type X's with 2000w and another has 2 12' JLW6v2 with a jl1000, and I'm looking for something that can beat these or sound at least as good/loud Ive considered2 12' d9's but idk yet im open for any suggestions. Only limmitations is that it has to be 12's not 15's, and price istn really an issue. SUGGESTIONS?

jeep grand cheroke... come to think of it i guess i could fit 15's and id get l7's but i dont think they have verry good sq but ill still think about it. keep the suggestions coming

I haven't heard much about the type x's.. the only thing i have heard is that they are more of a sq sub and that the type r's can get louder than them. The W6v2's are a nice sub and again sq oriented. If your wanting to be louder than them then i think the D9's would prob do the trick in a ported box and still sound good doing it.

have you looked into the avalanche subs. Im not sure what the D9's are but fill me in, i might have to take a look into those

i heard the memphis M3's get pretty loud not sure on the SQ though, if not u can always depend on the IDMAX 12's

I don't know much more than you do about subs, the only thing i can suggest is searching the name of the sub your interested in. I have done this multiple times on this site and there is a TON of info on just about any sub.
