is there any audible difference between having the sub firing upward or toward the back of the trunk? i can save some space by having my sub fire upward instead of sideways...

every car is differant. my old van did best with one sub up and one back. just put a sub in a box and aim it differant ways. see what works best

that sucks because that means i basically have to do 2 boxes. its going in a mustang convertible...

If saving space is your main priority, then I would just shoot them up. There proly isnt going to be a huge difference in that convertible IMO

thats what im thinking. is it ok to have the port and sub not on the same plane? like sub firing up and port firing sideways like normal?
