Sub cuts out...

Ok first this is what the system consists of

-Install edge LOC

-Kicker 350.2

-Kicker L5 Ported.

- 8 Guage power, and ground.

Stock headunit of course

This is the problem, When I turn the bass on the HU up too far the sub will turn off and stop playing music for about 15 seconds...

What could it be?

Not getting enough power? It is a small amp, and It wont take a wire bigger than 8 Guage..

Could the LOC be wired wrong?

Could the sub be wired in the box wrong?

It is a dual 4. And is wired to 2 OHM.

ok, I figured out the the amp isnt 2 OHM stable bridged...

next question, Is it possible to run each VC to a channel on the amp?

Is it possible to run each VC to a channel on the amp?

Yes. Just make sure you're giving it a mono signal, though.
