sub box insulation

is there anything that i can put inside of my sub box to help sound distortion? or atleast help the quality. if i put dynamat inside of it, will that help at all? please gimmie some input. thanks

To solve distortion? Maybe your enclosure is the wrong type/size for your sub. You could try some polyfill (polyester fiber, can be bought from craft store) in there. Just staple it down to the bottom of the box. This stuff causes the sub to behave like there is more airspace in the box and is perfect for use in small boxes where more volume would be optimal. Pretty sure it would only benefit sealed though. I'm sure someone else can explain this better than me. Once again though, what kind of distortion are you getting?

sounds like ur amp isnt tuned right. make sure ur bass boost isnt up and make sure ur gain is set right.

noooooooooooooooooo. i didnt explain it fully. i havent even installed my stuff yet. just to try to prevent something from happening.
