where can i get a sub fixed at? i believe the sub was blown during instillation... my guess is the positive and negative wires were crossed... thats the last time i let a friend install audio equipment. but i dont know too much about audio equipment and i would like to get the sub fixed. anywhere locally i can get it done or is it possible i could do it myself?

Go to REAUDIO.COM. get there contact number, and they can recone it for you.

It sounds to me that you just got a "lemon" sub. It might just be worth your while to just purchase a new one . . . . That is probably what I would do instead of going through all that hassle. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

so you cant blow a sub by just plugging the ground wire to the positive on the amp and the positive to the negative on the amp? b/c my friend installed it and i half way watched and he has experience wiring up audio stuff but the guy i bought them from said that it worked fine for him but he said the power and ground wires probably got crossed on the sub.... could this even be posible?

Switching the polarity of the wires, ie, + on - and -on + will NOT damage the driver. It will simply reverse the phasing. I'm guessing the driver was damaged before installation or we simply don't have the entire story.

What is the said driver anyways?
