sub blown??

start with the easiest things first

step one: see if your speaker wires are securly connected to the amp

step two: lightly push in on the cone and see if the sub feels like it is rubbing

step three: pull sub out and se if wires are connected securly to sub

step four: check coils with dmm(and look to see if tinsel lead is disconnected(dmm will tell))

how can you tell if a sub is blown because all of a sudden my sub stoped working and my amp apears to be fine
One way that I check it is if you push the coil in and out, you should'nt hear anything, but if you hear a scratching sound , then most likely your coil is fried
