Sub and amp wiring question?

I am trying to wrap my head around ohms and wiring to get the proper ohm load. Been doing alot of reading and now I got a question.

I have this amp: Soundstream DI-300.1

And this sub: JBL GT-1241D

JBL Grand Touring Series GT1241D 12" Dual 4-ohm Voice Coil Component Subwoofer at Crutchfield.com

I would like to wire the sub down to 2ohm load to get the full wattage out of the amp, can I wire it like this to achieve this:
