A friend of mine was helping me hook up my Sony MEX-BT38UW, it has two RCA cables that come out of the back and have female connections, I figured they where for the sub, but he said they were for something else. So I figured meh w/e and he connected the sub amp to the rear stereo out. The subs work fine, but is this an issue? Is it worth taking my dash apart just to fix it?

If your amp has a low-pass crossover, that's all you need. -Meaning it's okay to run full range into the amp if its got a crossover so that it only sends low frequencies to your sub(s).

It's a VERY low-end amp but it does have a LPF @ 80Hz, that enough?
