Sub/amp PROBLEM please help =[

ok so heres the thing. i installed a Alpine TYPE r amp 10 inch with a mrp 500 alpine amp. i have everything wired correctely like the remote,power,ground,rca etc. my subwoofer is not producing any sound at all. my amp turns on i replaced the fuse in the fuse holder. but theres nothing comming out the sub. oh yeah i accidently let the ground wire touch the power wire. not for long though if that had anything to do with it. ;[ does anyone know the problem>

Somewhere visable on the amp

It would be a red light somewhere on the outside of the amp. Make sure the sub is still connected to the box terminals and that they didn't get unattached somehow when mounting the speakers. Also if you have another amp in your house hook the sub up to it and see if you get any noise.

theres a blue light that turns on when i d/c the remotewire it turns off so im not sure if the amp is blown or i just gotta redue the wiring

it should say next to the light...protect is almost always red. blue/green usually mean OK, which indicates that your amp is on

So u dnt see a protect light anywhere on the amp? What about ur gains and do u have a dmm to ee what the sub is reading...what about the input and output voltage on the amp
