sub-amp for $500. help

I have an atlas 15 in a ported box being run off of a eD nine.2 (400 watts) . It sounds like the birth of christ, but I definently want something with more output (while still mainting good SQ). Another thing to is that right now I have an suv, so 5 cube boxes aint no thang, but I want something I can put in a smaller car since I plan on getting one soon. My 1st choice was the orion 1200 and the 15" t*** R, but Im not sure if this is what I really want. Can anyone help me? The problem is that all of the amps are so cheap on ikesound, but I don't think I can trust them, so I may end up with a nine.1 and something.

I listen to literally all types of music, so my choice of music usually revolves around what sounds best. I am shooting for around 145 since right now Im doing 137 (on the TL). Like I said my budget is around 500$, the less the better of course.

yes it would

but which ones... you need to be more specific. A 15" xxx is alot different than a 15" jlw0.

you can get a orion perfect 10in for like 160 or the 12 for 180 and then get a orion 1200D for like 300 or so but u gotta consider thats a 2400watt amp. but thats only if u already got a box

I'm not on the type r brigade but..... you could get 2 12" type r and 2 1200ds for right around 600 I bet.
