If you can run a quad 2 at 1 ohm, then yes.

Not really looking for alternatives per say, just trying to see if the sub could be wired to 1 ohm on this amp. I have budgeted for both of these along with the other amp and comps I am looking at ($2200 plus install). Through research I have decided definitely on DLS amps and comps(Iridium 6.2 on a bridged A4) and am leaning toward the TC-3000 for that A6(the other contender is the Fi Q but it's fading fast). My goal? Very good sound quality with respectable output. The sub will be sealed in a recommended enclosure.

quad 2 ohm coils can only be wired to .5, 2, or 8 ohm resistances. If you're looking for the 1200W output then that amp wont work

Cool that is the kind of feedback I was looking for. Any recommendations on an amp that is DLS quality that will give me 1200-1500 WRMS at .5 or 2 ohms?
