sub/amp combo suggestions?

ok i have currently a brand new sealed box custom made to fit in the back of my 87 camaro, i currently have very low end dual subs and amp in there, the sub box is 1.92 cu ft per side, i would like some suggestions of a good sub and amp combo, budget is around 230 shipped for the amp, and about 250 or so for 2 12's. any suggestions would be great help much appreciated,

p.s i was thinking 2 alpine type r's with a kenwood 1800 watt amp?

Hi and welcome to the forum. I guess it depends on how much you want to thump. Two type r's should smoke that camaro. Sound good diong it though. Might be a tad over your budget. I had 1 12 type E in a hatchback, (assuming yours is too) and that sucker bumped real good. I found out that hatchbacks seem to have that extra bump. Maybe something to consider, otherwise looks like a good match. Good luck!

yea, and i know i have seen type r's for around 110 online, but also, from what i understand, they dont really sing until about 800 wrms, which means he would need 1600 rms, and thats tough on 230$

your probably right anyone else have input on this? also waht would be some good subs in that price range to put in? that like sealed enclosures?

ok i heard some type e's at bestbuy and they sounded real good, but how would i wire that amp at 4 ohms i dont understand ohms very much at all, or what about an alpine 600 watt?
