sub amp combo question...

Alright i am in the process of buying 2 12 fi q with bp power... they are 2 ohm. right now i have just a memphis belle 1300w... i was planning on using that for one of the subs.... and buying another like 1200w amp for the other sub....

but the part i dont understand is the matching of ohms... since the subs are 2 ohm i cant put both of those subs to like a 2000w amp or what are my best options for hooking this up... i would like to keep the belle because it would be easy not to have to sell that then buy 2 or 3 new amps.

help is much appreciated.... thanks

Well, with two 2-ohm DVC subs, you can wire them to a final 2-ohm load. Now you just need an amp that can put out 2000w @ 2 ohms.

Or, a single 2-ohm DVC sub can be wired to 1 ohm. Your memphis Belle can put out 1100w @ 1 ohm (it's the MCH1300 right?), so you would just need another amp that can put out at least 1000w @ 1 ohm for the other sub.
