Stupid, Stupid question

This makes me feel dumb but I'll ask it anyways

I went to go and install my Focal 165vs, my 1000d Memphis, and my Us Acoustics 2150 about three hours ago. Well my friend, who seemingly knows more about car audio then me, just laughed at me(I didnt get nothin hooked up, by the way)

The US Acoustics is 150x2 at 4ohms, which is what I thought I needed for my comps?

Secondly, the US Acoustics has bass levels and Low pass and whatnot, meaning it's a sub amp, right?

So basically, I totally screwed up by buying the Us Acoustics because I cant use it to push my Comps, or am I just an idiot? Help? Please?

Ouch, leave it on full range (you have that option?), and cross it over on your radio at 80-120 hz.

The amp is absolutely fine for a component set, btw. I used to use a 2100 on my comps a while back and it worked well.

How expensive would a comp amp, with teh high passes and whatnot that would give me 75-100wx2 at 4ohm cost me, ya think? Used even, as long as it's a decent amp

And do you think a little 10" polk momo could handle 450w rms?

Its been a long time since I played around, but you could just pick up an electronic crossover and use the same amp. Would be a) cheaper and b) give you a whole lot more control. I used to use an Audiocontrol 4XS before it got stolen.

I own a Power Acoustik 125x2 RMS @ 4ohms and it moves my bostons FS60's really well, considering the fact that its feed from my stock HU.

Well, I could use the US Acoustics for the MOMO I have, and am planning to either sell locally toa buddy of mine or install in my moms Envoys lol(I sound like a little kid, Don't I?)

But...arggg, I was thinking about picking up a little 90x2 RF, maybe? Maybe it's 60x2, I dunno, it's up at HH Gregg...I need some Ideas though of cheaper 100x2 @4 amps...

Well cheapest amoutn of money - but if I get a new amp this solves my amplifier problem with my MoMo

I have a pioneer that is rated at 50x2 but I really dont want to put that little pos on them, might as well have them pushed from the HU Jesus
