maybe so dave but the ones i checked out at finals were pretty much the same....some people were running the q's with the aluminum coils but that about it...

The motor cooling is different. Both subs can handle a good amount of power, especially just for burps. A buddy of mine burped his HDC15 with 6kw on a regular basis, and never had any issues with the sub.
