strapping stereo amps

class ab full range stereo amps. Can it be done some way? I was looking into the hifonics device to try and I just want to know any other options. I was thinking 1 amp per coil on a DVC speaker and balance the output as equal as I can get it with my meter but that seems like asking for trouble. I want to maybe put both my arc 2500cxl amps on one speaker like a critical mass ul12.

Ideas would be a great help thanks.

if you are bridging each amp to a mono signal. i think it would work the same..

no, you cannot strap 2) 2 ch stereo amps together.

But you certainly can put one on each coil of a DVC sub. Just match the gains as best as possible.

I knew i could not strap them like mono amps but just was thinking that one on each coil may be a bad idea.

If its cool like you say I may try it. I may give it a go one sub would keep the weight down in the car a bit. I just hate blowing stuff up and would rather check stuff out first if I never tried an idea before.

The key is gain matching.

Would be better to just have one larger amp if you can get one.

yeah I know a large amp is better but I bought one and the day after I got laid off it got shipped to the building next to where I worked at and S Garcia got it and i never saw it since.

maxx link is one thing i was looking at but two subs is how I have run like this before or 12 subs on six amps. I want to go down to one bigger sub. I am going to put one amp one each coil of a bigger sub and give that a whirl. I have a clarion crossover with a bass knob (thanks turd) I will use to adjust it after I have set the gains and matched them the best I can.
